Thank you for your story. I can't begin to imagine how hard it would be to
forgive someone for taking the life of a loved-one (either intentionally, or by
accident). Most all of us have stories of things that occurred early in our
lives that were often-times traumatic and life-changing. It may have been
abandonment, abuse, the loss of a loved-one. The important point I've been
reminded of from this article, is that as we move forward in our lives, we must
leave these experiences behind, and not allow them to define who we are, or
cloud our thinking and judgment. Again, thank you!
Thank you , hon!! I had major tears streaming down at the end of this most heart
felt article. I know that there is an eternally significant reason for
forgiveness and I know from experience that it is not instantaneously achieved
for me. I am spending a lifetime of continuous work toward understanding the
COMPLETE picture Father has in mind when we are unwillingly subjected to those
who abuse. I am working toward remembering "When ye have done it to the
least of these..." of US it is required to forgive all....
