I agree completely with that sign: "Don't Let Utah Become
Arizona."Arizona, southern Arizona in particular, has suffered
billions of dollars in damage caused by illegal aliens. Hospitals have gone
bankrupt because of the unbelievable number of illegal aliens who come for
medical treatment then skip out on their bills. Gangs, drugs, murders,
vandalism, and even the return of diseases that had been eradicated from the
U.S. continue to flow in from Mexico, while the federal government does nothing
meaningful to protect us. Every area of southern Arizona that has any sizable
population of illegal aliens has become a filthy, crime-ridden slum, a little
third-world country right here in Arizona. No, you definitely don't
want Utah to become Arizona.
Solving illegal immigration is simple if you have the will to do it.There is a symbiotic relationship between illegal aliens and their employers.
It is in the best interests of each to keep their mouths shut. The same
situation exists with landlords. All you have to do is turn it into a hostile
relationship.Offer a $10,000 reward to the first person to turn in
employers who hire illegal aliens without attempting to screen them out. The
employer gets fined $15,000 to cover the reward and the costs of the program. We
don't do anything to the illegal aliens they will not be able to get a job
because even the illegal aliens will be eligible for the reward. No employer
will risk hiring them.Same goes for landlords. If they rent housing
to illegal aliens they will have to refund all the rent. Talk about a
disincentive to rent to illegals. This will make it so they cannot
live or work here. They will all go home on their own.
Amen! To the above comment.
Should we become more like California? Overrun with illegals and over $8 Billion
in debt? Unable to pay the employees and unions?
It's not about racism. It's about respect for the law. I don't
want to see families torn apart, but I also don't think that we can support
the illegal alien population. It seems as if the feds don't want to do
anything, but they also don't want to let the states do anything. just
like the dog in the manger!
With Obama opening our southern border by telling ICE not to arrest anyone who
claims they went to high school here (without proof) we have an open border to
all nations, and our illegal immigration numbers are rising. (source: border
patrol unions) We need this law, and E verify. Utahns should not
have to put up with our dishonest businesses and politicians that are killing
any attempt to enforce our laws. LaRaza needs to back off. Not all Hispanics
want to put up with their attempt to destroy our immigration laws.
