My youngest has full Trisomy 18. He is 25 months old, and while he has numerous challenges and is medically fragile, he loves his life and brightens the world around him. We were so fortunate that my doctors were compassionate. While they made sure we understood the statistics, they also gave us hope and helped us. Since his birth, the wonderful staff at PCMC has continued to help him. He rocks that extra chromosome, and our lives are richer for it.
