It is a traitorous act to release classified national security information to
the press. There is no question as to where the information came from, and Sen.
Diane Feinstein would have called for a special prosecutor to investigate this
criminal behavior ..... if the man in the White House was a Republican.
President Obama has assembled one of the most controversial cabinets in modern
history. Many individuals currently serving have had multiple legal issues
dotted with criminal activity... and resumes that would most scare most
reputable companies. As such, it really isn't that big of a surprise that
national level security leaks and other unsavory actions (i.e., Eric
Holder's non-cooperation with Congress) continue to appear coming from the
White House. Considering the content of the some of the leaks, there isn't
much room for doubt. Unfortunately, this probably won't be the last of it.
It continues to be politics at it's worst and the public is growing very
tired of it. It's little wonder the president is getting nervous and
appearing defensive about his chances in November.
When asked why Obama and Holder insisted on an independent investigation over
the Valerie Plame fiasco, but not for the current leaks, Jay Carney says they
don't need an independent prosecutor to investigate, because the
Administration is REALLY serious about this matter, and those chosen by Eric
Holder are really competent. In other words, "We're the
most intelligent and sincere administration in history, so even though others
needed independent accountability, just TRUST US to investigate ourselves"
This seems to be an ongoing theme since Obama's 2008 campaign,
and they're not willing to change that theme despite non-stop deception,
distortions, scandals, and broken promises. Hope and Change -
let's Hope there's a Change in the direction of reality when it comes
to trusting these people.
The people who are yelping the loudest, and trying to blame the Obama
administration when there is no evidence they did anything, are the ones who
condoned the Bush administration "outing" a covert CIA operative
(Valerie Plame) for political pay-back because her husband dared to criticize
that administration. Hypocrites, all of them.
Re: Furry1993 Clearfield, UT"The people who are yelping the loudest,
and trying to blame the Obama administration when there is no evidence they did
anything ..."Actually there is overwhelming evidence that the
leaks had to come from the Obama Administration. In other news, and I quote:
"In growing numbers, once-confident Democrats now say President Barack Obama
could lose the November election. The hand-wringing reflects real worries among
Democrats about Obama's ability to beat Republican rival Mitt Romney, who
has proven to be a stronger candidate than many expected."
@Furry1993 - those who aren't completely deluded in the Obama love
fairyland easily recognize that the information leaked to reporters could ONLY
have come from very top level administrative officials. I suppose that, despite
any amount of overwhelming evidence, some people will continue to deny what is
plain to even the most simple-minded. A few will continue to deny, and join a
conspiracy theory club even if someone admits guilt. And, Obama and
Holder demanding an independent prosecutor for the Valerie Plame incident, but
not for these leaks, which are considered on a bi-partisan basis to be much,
much worse? How do you keep a straight face when you accuse others of
hypocrisy? In following your comments on DN stories, it always surprises me how
unaware you seem to be about very similar (and usually worse) behavior from your
side of the aisle.
If Axelrod is so SURE the leaks did not come from the WH, he should WELCOME a
special prosecutor.Furry,If there truly is no evidence anyone
in the WH did anything wrong, they would WELCOME the special prosecutor to clear
them, if for no other reason.Tell me, Furry, who was killed,
compromised, or imprisoned as a result of the outing of Valerie Plame? Who??yet then-senators BO and BIDEN DEMANDED a special prosecutorAfter
BO bragged about getting UBL and naming seal team 6, a team 6 helicopter was
shot down. The Pakistani doctor who assisted us in verifying it was
UBL is now in prison for 33 years! The operative who provided us with
the new underwear bomb has been exposed and his and his family’s lives are
in constant danger. But none of that warrants a special prosecutor
when the outing of Valerie Plame had BO and Biden screaming for a special
prosecutor!?!?!?!?! REALLY!?!?!?!Do you realize, when viewing the
Plame episode and ALL these leaks side-by-side how utterly _____ (cannot say or
DN won’t post) those saying we don’t need a special prosecutor look?
Let's cut the democrats some slack, guys. After all, it's Bush's
fault, remember?Democrats: "It didn't come from the White
House, but please don't investigate if it came from the White House!
Please!" How could anyone think these innocent guys in the White House
could be lying to us? That's Bush's fault, too.
There really isn't much difference between the Bush and Obama White Houses.
The people complaining about leaks from the Obama administration had to hold
their tongue during the Bush years because, for them, Party comes before
Country. The speak loudly today, because they had to be quiet yesterday.
Funny thing, Moderate, but even Dianne Feinstein was not complaining about
serious leaks during the Bush years like she is now. I think that says
something about the difference between the minor and typical leaks under the
Bush administration and the outrageous and dangerous leaks we're now seeing
from Obama's administration. Apparently Party comes before Country for
you, even more so than a dedicated liberal like Feinstein.Fact is,
there probably wasn't much difference between the Bush White House and most
other presidents with regard to leaks. Obama's administration, however,
has set a new standard for naivete and amateurism in their approach to national

excusing criminal behavior because ..... "they did it first"?
Don't you have any concern over the damage to our national security that is
