Judge dismisses child porn charge; he still faces 14 voyeurism charges
What can you use in trial these days?
Defense attorney Travis Currie stated that Steven Powell’s diaries are not
relevant to his current charges. He also argued the diaries only prove an
obsession with Susan Powell and NOT a pattern of voyeurism on the part of his
client.Good luck convincing any human being of that, Mr. Currie.
And now everyone can tell the difference between being ill and being sick.
People make themselves sick by making evil choices. At some point Steven Powell
make that choice, it has damaged generations and now the lives of many people
have been destroyed.
This is why the general authorities warn against pornography and the evils it
can bring. What more can be said?
How out of reach of reality is the judge in this case? "In making his
decision, Culpepper noted that prosecutors could not show that Powell directed
the girls to pose provocatively or in an explicit nature and said the evidence
did not fit the charge. The girls, ages 10 and 8, were innocently getting into a
bathtub and were allegedly photographed without their knowledge, Culpepper
noted."WHAT??? I wonder if his opinion would change if these
were photographs of his daughters or granddaughters? Do you have to ask
children to pose indecently before you can be convicted of this charge against
children? This person was taking illegal photographs of innocent children in
order to gain sexual gratification. In who's universe (apart from Judge
Culpepper's)does that not constitute a crime???Mr Powell has
affected so many lives with his sexual deviancy. Please let this judge see
sense, and not allow these two young children become his next two victims. With
such a person as Mr Powell, each "victory" becomes a reason not to
"Will Steven Powell diaries obsessing over Susan be admitted in
trial"?----Does it really matter? Pretty much
everyone knows about it by now already.
Is he being charged for being obsessed over Susan? If not, then why would
they be admitted at his trial?
I'm getting so I'm feeling the same way about Steven Powell as I did
about Brian David Mitchell. I can't stand to look at him.
