    First off: Great photo
Second Off: Fangupo will not get drafted!

Most "experts" say he will get drafted. They have reputations on the line. It is easy to make bold predictions when there is no accountability because of anonymity.
Fangupo may or may not get drafted. I personally think he will go no later than the sixth round. Unlike LDSfan, I don't have a crystal ball so my opinion is only a prediction.

and byu fans "know" they'll be in a BCS bowl and BCS league soon too.

    LOL

BYU fans also know that the more Cougar articles there are, the more posts they will see from insecure Y detractors.

Oh yeah! They will also know that fans of the TUN will always tag them as the pre-season favorites to win the Southern division of the pac. Only one thing will stand in their way...better teams. At least they will have all that money...eventually.

    LOL

I'm glad BYU didn't go PAC-12 and make fools of themselves by getting buffaloed. Fangupo represented BYU,--the true "University of Utah", and the class of the state, very well.

Max hall and Jan Jorgensen "knew' they were going to be drafted as well.........? Hmmmmmmm?

@ worf, BYU had no chance being invited to the PAC 12. The Pac is for real schools.

    Utah-Hawaii Alum,

    We both know better.

@ worf, The PAC 12 never even called Tom Holmoe back, just like the Big 12. Enjoy that road trip to Las Cruces........what a huge rivalry week contest that will be!? I would imagine that game will have well over 100 million eager viewers tuned into BYUTV to watch the mighty Cougars play the world's most popular team......NMSU. Enjoy!

    Brave Sir Robin

    Wow...his optimism is breathtaking.

    Utah-Hawaii Alum

Seems a little ironic to have you try to school cougar fans about "rivalry week." Seems to me U picked the worst road team in all of college football for your new rival, and promptly got schooled at home by them. The only bright, shining blessing for you is...wait for it...almost there...nobody saw it!

Stick with 54-10. You got scoreboard, enjoy it. But as for Ur experience in the PAC whatever, so far Ur contribution to the Conference of Champs is that when handed a gift-wrapped ticket to the first-ever Conference Championship of the Conference of Championships, U laid a magnificent goose egg. The team Ur division had to send instead ended up not even bowl-worthy.

The PAC needed another doormat. The utes were hardly competitive in the Mountain West or the Wac, and are the laughing stock of the pac. Getting former BYU players for coaches is good form of flattery.

The Pac12 did & isn't that what really matters?

I love this kids optimism. A positive attitude and believing in himself are admirable attributes. Love it.

    @utah-hawaii

I posted this elsewhere. Just an FYI. LOL!

Just for fun I looked up the standings in most pac12 sports top see how well the utes "competed" in their 1st pac12 season. This should be enlightening to most.

    Football - 4-5 8th place
    Baseball - currently 5-13 12th place
    Mens Basketball - 3-15 11th place
    Womens basketball - 8-10 8th place
Softball - 0-15 9th place (this is last because only 9 schools field teams)
    Volleyball - 6-16 9th place
Womens Gymnastics - 2nd plce (high water mark here)
    Womens X country - 8th place
Mens Golf - 10th place was their highest finish in any tourney
    Womens Soccer - 6-5 6th place
    Mens Tennis - 1-6 7th place (of 8)
    Womens Tennis - 3-7 8th place (of 11)

I think we can see utah is not competitive at all in almost every sport. The best was womens gymnastics which finished 2nd and the one that had ute "fans" positively giddy was the 4-5 8th place record of the football team.

    LOL!

    Duck,

I pity any team that lost(let alone got destroyed) by a middle of the PACK PAC 12 team. Wouldnt you agree.

    Come September,

    Utah 40
    byu 10
    riley 4 turnovers

    Mark it down!

    @christina

Ok, I'll "mark it down". It still doesn't change how awful utah's overall athletic program is.

    "Utah-Hawaii Alum

Right, right - so I'm guessing those who went to Utah went because of the Honor Code at BYU and not because of a letter from the BYU admissions office?

    "Fangupo knows he'll get drafted"

Ouch. Probably would have if he had stayed at USC. He's really not a bad player, and I imagine he will make a roster, but he's got an uphill battle going in as a FA. Good luck to him.

Does it count if Duckhunter drafted him? I hope he makes it as a free agent in football because his forcasting skills need some work. The kid has some talent and may make a team but the 'my film is too good' attitude will need to change.

    @ Worf,
All I can say is...HATER-AIDE!!! ignorance is bliss!

2-BCS bowl victories later, PAC-12 invite later (only D1 school in the state of Utah), first PAC-12 bowl victory later, and the best Ute recruiting class in the history of the Utah football program later. i'm just posting this just to have fun with you!

I guess he was mistaken in "KNOWING" that he'll be drafted. Do you think his arrogance has been dropped a knotch? I doubt it..I'm sure it was someone elses fault.

    Yep. Classic cougar hubris.
