I would have liked to have seen more of Kanter. He was 3-3 for 6 pts. and 3 reb.
in 12 mins. He had 0 fouls. I would liked to have seen him use up some of those
fouls banging on Garnett for sure. I thought on this road trip that Ty
didn't show alot of trust in the bench for the most part. They were really
helping us on that 6 game winning streak and I thought there were times when we
could have used there help more. Thats just my opinion of coarse. Man Hayward is really starting to play some serious basketball. What a good
selection by KOC. Go Jazz!
I agree with RUSS, Ty should've played the bench a little more with Favors
Kanter, Burks, and Tinsley..This game proves again that CJ MILES is
very inconsitent....1/10 enuf aid.....I would love to see CJ replaced or given
less minutes in favor of burks..I also think Tinsley should be the
first one of the bench at the PG spot. Watson is a fierce player but tinsley
provides more smooth offense and the ability to score.A little tweak
in the lineup should do the trick, we cant be stubborn CORBIN, play the guys
that will give us the best chance to win...
You guys beat me to it..Al had problems with Garnett and it got into his head
with the lack of calls. The fact is this happens when you go against length as
Boston Front Court gave the Jazz a rough time. They won the board battle.
Despite showing nice heart and coming back from 18, Corbin made his share of
errors yet again. One was going so long with Miles when Burks outplays him
every time. Tinsley and Watson were supposed to split time. I guess not. Tins
did nothing to lose the backup Point spot..Only Gordon outside of Burks and
Favors and Kanter showed the energy. He also attacked the rim and defended.
The Jazz went back to playing to slow of a tempo tonight playing much of the
night to Boston 1.2 court defense strength. Did not make them work enough with
ball movement. It was also unwise for Corbin to replace Gordon for Carroll that
many minutes when Gordon was then our best player.
Yes Tinsley helps the scoring with the second unit alot. Tinsley creates
opportunities for his team mates and gets them involed. He was at the helm
during the 6 game winning streak and if it's truly about the playoffs, then
Tinsley looks like the man to me to run the 2nd unit. Let's get back to
winning! Go Jazz!
Let's just hope Golden State doesnt tank the season...we would need that
lottery pick...and get us a starting PG or a scoring threat at the wing
position...i think Devin Harris of old wont be coming back anymore...and we
should really start trading players with value now...for players that would fit
our system...Keep the young guys...Hayward, Favors, Burks, Kanter and
Evans...and please...PLEASE...let them get major minutes...i mean...they would
leave when their contract is up...it might be a wesley matthews episode all over
again...for these players...because we seem to undervalue them...but i trust KOC
to do his job...im just a bit worried..since these kids...are better than the
vets we have right now...although Kanter is Raw...he will improve and he needs
his 20-25 mins a game for that
Why do the Jazz let CJ travel with the team and suit up for road games?
DESNEWS- YOUR WEBPAGE IS TRASH. It freezes my machine every time I read the
comments.Oh, and how about a box score instead of your lame "instant
analysis"?I agree with Fresno and Todd.Corbin botched
these last two road games with his lineups.Harris and CJ did nothing
against Boston.Boston showed that if you slow down Big Al and
Millsap early, the Jazz flounder. And that is easy to do since neither get
any respect from the officials!
Have a "big" dose of reality Jazz fans. Truth is the Celtics toyed with
this Jazz team like the Jazz toyed with the talentless Nets the night before. We
have a loooong way to go before competing for an NBA title quite frankly We need
more fire power on the wings, another big, and possibily another young PG, to go
with our youth movement. Another year older Watson and Tinsley will soon show
that age. Just give the young-uns more time coach because making the playoofs is
remote this year and would be an early exit anyway. Look to the near future Ty.
I think it is the Parquet floor. It just hypnotizes the Jazz. Happens ever
time they go to bean town.
@ VinceI don't think it was really the Celtics "toyed" with
the Jazz all night as you said. I think the Jazz were their own worst enemy by
shooting outside shots too much (an haveing an off shooting night to boot),
instead of going inside like the Jazz have been excelling at lately. The Jazz
also missed too many free throws to be able to pull this game out. I do think
the Jazz are on the way up and the Celtics are on the way down and overall the
Jazz are the better team right now. This has also been a grueling stretch for
the Jazz and they played like they were worn down a little. Also, I know Corbin
has more knowledge in his little finger about coaching than I would ever know,
but I do think he is making a mistake by not playing Tinsley instead of Watson
Big Al will never get the better of KG. Garnett is more basketball savvy. He
will retire with a perfect record against Al. Too bad . . . I'd like to
see Al master him just once.I like the idea expressed above of
giving Kanter more minutes just to bang on Garnett and get into his head.
Instead, he gets into Al's head.
Jefferson with a very poor effort again. Needs to be traded. Not a good
I think some are right some wrong. The right there is no way that earl should be
in front of Tinsly. And Burks should play most of CJ minutes. Can't stand
Garnett, i wish big Al would hit him in the mouth. But he is to nice. Trade
trade trade that is all some of u talk about. I like big Al does he have some
defensive liabilites for sure but i say he is a top 5 center in this league. I
only wish Ty would never take Favors off the floor he would be a 15 to 20 point
scorer and i know he would get 20 rebounds.
