It's ok that Gladys Knight as an LDS person will not vote for Mitt Romney.
There are many good LDS people that won't. I have chosen to vote for Mitt,
not because He is LDS, but because he is the best person for the job. The fact
that he is active LDS and lives it is indeed a great thing also. My neighbor is
LDS and is voting for Obama. Even though I do not understand it, I know that
she is doing what she sees as best. In her background as a teacher, she has
seen student's parents who have died because they did not have health
insurance. They made too much money to get aide, but not enough to pay for
insurance. Everyone makes the best judgement they can with the life experience
that they have had. Isn't it nice that we all have the freedom to do that?
Gladys' vocal support for Obama in 2008 wouldn't be consistent if she
switched parties in 2012. I like the diversity of Knight and Harry Reid while
holding to their faith.
