    It's sad that it takes something bad happening to a Legislator's family member for them to do the right things.

    Is two hours of instruction on suicide prevention every two-years really enough?

    What is the "right" thing, and how would passing this bill help individuals like the one in this story who died years after leaving school? Token suicide prevention training may give the liberals warm fuzzies but won't address the underlying problems that lead to suicide.

    There will always be suicides in an imperfect world occupied by imperfect people.
