Imagine a country without corrupt leaders.Very few people on food
stamps, under-employed, and a debt free nation.A dream come true.
Worf: I agree w you wholeheartedly. There is plenty to go around but greed and
corruption are significant contributors to the divide we see today. They
condemn the poor while blatantly ignoring the aid they give to the rich.
How about some objective reporting, not reprinting advocacy propaganda from a
very liberal source. (The source, identified as stateline.org is part of the
rabidly left Pew Charitable trust.)It is the liberal policies which
have eliminated so many jobs, and keep people dependent on government handouts.
To us, that may seem like a bug, but to liberals dependency is a feature to
ensure those beholden to them will vote for more "free stuff."As for the first lady's lamentable situation, perhaps is she saved some
of her prior earnings instead of instantly gratifying her wants, she would have
been able to live better now. However, with our government's dismal
example of inability to live within their means, she is no worse than our
Congress and President.
Ah yes blackattack, Liberals believe they are entitled to receive what other
people worked for so they can recieve that for which they did not work! That you
call greed and corruption? How about greed being people who did not obtain any
meaningful job skills or will not work lusting after the property of those who
did work for what they have? Is that not real greed and corruption? Entitlement
Wall Mart is where poor people would shop. and their 15% in sails. That tells me
that the poor are in poverty.
ah yes, the BO economy, where the gap between rich and poor has growth more than
at any time in our history.ah well, when low-income people are
seeing their ohurs cut from full-time to 29/week so the employer can avoid
Obamacare, what do you expect?george,by definition, the poor
are in poverty, you do not need walmart statistics to know that. But "15%
in sails"? please help me understand what you are saying. what do parts of
wind-powered watercraft (sails) have to do with shopping at walmart?are you saying poor poeple make up 15% of walmart's sales? or are you
saying walmart has 15% in-store sales? aside from the mispelling, the grammar
is incomplete and I do not know what you are trying to say. I'm not trying
to be confrontational or demeaning, I just don't get what you are
I have no problem giving Food Stamps to deserving people for a short amount of
time. This is how the LDS Church welfare system works. People on church welfare
are expected to work to upgrade their situation ASAP so they can be self
sufficient. This is not meant to be a life style or long term subsistance.
People must be trying to find reasonable work and/or upgrade their skills via
education etc.. to qualify for welfare. Also the term for Church welfare is not
indefinite. I do have a HUGE problem with the national welfare
system which has become a life style for people these days with most of them
unwilling to work at all. It was shown in a recent report that a person
receiving welfare + food stamps + disablity can bring in $35000 per
year....that is FREE money with no work required. Can we now see why the US is
being referred to as the "welfare state"? You wouldn't want your
son to live in your basement til age 40 getting free room and board, free cell
phone, free car, free health care from you and not working. Why is that then ok
Lost in DC , Wall mart sold 15% less. But you Knew that, I know what I
wanted to say but saying what I meant is lost in translation. Every one has
their own imagination attitude and ego. It's more than an emotion it's
the spirit of things.
Wow...highest number on WELFARE in history.........Obama really is
the food stamp president...
