This is like giving an infant a detonator to a nuclear bomb. The fact that this
guy was a doctor treating people is even more alarming. What precautions did he
take? It makes no sense at all to being him here. Medicine can always be fliwn
there. He shouldve understood the risks involved in treating people with Ebola
now he wants to expose the rest of us to a possible outbreak.
Ebola is transferred via body fluid. Not casual contact. Not
airborn. Not aerosolized. Direct exposure to body fluids. If you are
at the CDC and in his room without protection and you are directly exposed to
his blood or other fluids you have a problem. Otherwise, not so
@ Stormwalker:...until the virus mutates, as they frequently do.
Our last major experience with a mutated virus was the influenza epidemic of
1918, which killed 50 million worldwide (CDC statistics on their website), and
had a mortality rate of 2.5%.All it will take is mutation to an
airborne vector, and you will see a repeat of 1918, but with a much higher
mortality rate, at 60%.Is this what a nation and a world
"ripening in iniquity" has to look forward to?
