    Yes it is important to ask question and do research. Many times, medical care is emergency care. We solved this issue in our home by setting aside an emergency fund to cover these costs. Now we don't have to deal with the stress of not having even a dime to cover expenses that most of us have. It is no different than paying rent and utilities.

    I take very expensive medication for my Multiple Sclerosis. I have found that most companies who sell these medications have programs to help you pay for it. It has saved me thousands of dollars. Be aware: Not all insurance companies will allow the help.

    The single-payer healthcare system: Because why should we allow anyone to be financially ruined by medical bills when we can allow everyone to be financially ruined by medical bills?

    yes, the single payer system so we can die on unkonwn waiting lists before we can see the doctor.
