Well, golly gee willikers! Imagine that. The NSA is going way beyond what the
law allows. I'd say I'm shocked, but this is standard fare for the
The revelations from so-called "whistleblowers" protected nobody except
terrorists. Once surveillance methods are exposed the enemy changes the way it
does business and everyone loses. The magalomania of the "whistleblower"
combined with a thoughtless and incautious media and politicians looking either
to sell news or just be politically obstreperous and the utter foolishness of
the tin-foil hat wearing crowd are all complicit here and have done tremendous
damage to our security.
Uncle_Fester ""whistle blowers" protected nobody except

data mining was never even affecting the terrorists. They're not any more
or less protected than they were before the whistle blowers because what was
exposed literally had nothing to do with terrorists. Government agencies were
using that data to spy on US citizens. Some of the data was even used in
conjunction with the DEA to make low level drug busts. In fact, I haven't
heard of a single situation in which the NSA was keeping track of these
terrorists using illegal methods.
