San Diego has a triple wall along most of it's border. Enforcement in the interior and deporting after their court case is the only
answer. They can appeal from their home country. Why are they not being turned
away at the border? Obama has given us the best example of what
amnesty accomplishes, it brings more people here illegally. Time to hit the
employers hard, make them pay for the deportations. Give the taxpayers a break
from their dishonest manipulation of the labor market.
One needs only to listen to the politicians to know the problem; they don't
want to crack down on illegal aliens. The BIA is structured to craft individual
amnesty, not quickly deport those who are here illegally. That creates
other problems, like full detention centers and people getting released because
we cannot hold them for longer than x days.In other words, Washington
likes the loopholes.
There is more going on then the press will say, and the situation is not
good. Our leaders have betrayed us, we spend more protecting other
It seems rather obvious that the deportation process needs to be greatly
streamlined and quickened. These illegals need to immediately be sent back
across the border from whence they came and let the Mexican authorities deal
with them. After all, it was Mexico who allowed most of them to come all the way
through their country from South America to get to the U.S..If,
after spending multiple thousands of dollars to "Coyotes" (human
smugglers) most were immediately unsuccessful after getting here, word would
soon get out back in their countries of origin and much of the human trafficking
would cut down. That brings up another topic. If these
"financial refugees" can afford up to $6,000 (which buys a lot more in
South America) per person to be smuggled, then they truly aren't as poor as
many of their political advocates are making them out to be. At
least half the world (literally) would love to live in America. Obviously, that
is not an option... and not even semi-close to being any kind of option. Having
controlled borders, strict laws, and adhering to those laws, are the only means
of controlling the situation.
This will never get fixed by political means. Republican politicians like
illegal immigration because it gives them good housekeeping and cheap lettuce.
Democrat politicians like illegal immigration because it gives them more voters.
Only the American people dislike immigration, and who really cares about the
American public anyway?
Obama has lost all credibility in dealing with immigration because of his
pandering for votes. We should not allow one illegal unaccompanied individual to
come to Utah. This mess is the result of political calculations by Obama. It is
his problem and he has to man up and solve it.Harry Reid has refused to allow
reasonable immigration plans from the House to be taken up.This issue could be
solved if both sides would meet together and give and take to accomplish an
