Actually, The new Miss Utah, Karlie, received her Young Women's Medallion
when she was just 14. She is more beautiful inside than she is outside.
She's service-oriented, kind, loving, and accepting of all people.
We're so lucky to have her represent our great state!
So the question has to be asked. Why is she wearing a dress that immodest if she
got her young women medallion at 14?
I was wondering about the dress as well. Tends to clash with modest values a
bit. I'm sure she is a lovely person but honestly...listening to someone
talk about positive body image can be a bit tough to swallow from a itsy bitsy
beauty queen, ya know?

I agree about the dress. Seems pretty immodest for someone who has her YW
medallion. Feels like she compromised her standards for the competition. Sad.

Being Miss Utah will be like living in a fishbowl. She will represent Utah in
the Miss America pageant. I doubt she will have no problem with the swimsuit
