    Goes to show that the two best teams were not in the finals. How embarrassing for the Heat to get smoked in all 4 losses. The west is stacked and only getting harder. Good job Spurs!

    This is a blueprint for the Jazz:

    *getting a good coach and keeping him a long time;
    *huge emphasis on passing and unselfish play;
    *good character players who know their role instead of emphasis on individual stars;
    *huge emphasis on team defense;
    *playing for the 3-ball.

    It was a depressing day when LeBron went to Miami with a hand picked collection of stars to essentially buy an NBA championship--and essentially it worked. What hope does a team like Utah have?

    San Antonio this year showed that you can win without a collection of superstars. Tim Duncan is not the superstar he was--although still very good. Same for Ginobili and Parker. Leonard has not yet reached his peak. It was a collection of good and very good players, playing as a complete team. Yet, they crushed the Heat, and it wasn't even a fair fight. And San Antonio is much funner to watch than 1-on-1 basketball.

    I have renewed hope that maybe Utah could do the same thing--Quin Snyder could be that coach; Lindsay could be the GM to pull it off. I look forward to see the evolution of the Jazz over the next 4-5 years.
