This is a good start but why major administrators had to doctor the books is
more important.I suspect contractors embezzling funds thorough
legislation mandated contractor payments on no bid awards are the root of the
loss of VA funds. The ALEC crime ring in Washington DC is behind many billions
of dollars lost to embezzling and kickback payments to ALEC by contractors being
awarded the no bid contracts. The VA must follow the money now and let it lead
them to embezzling administrators and contractors. The GOP and DEMs throwing
money at this problems and using Medicare and medicaid money to supplement VA
fraud is a band aid that the vets do not want. There is very likely
that states will demand the medical records of confidential military information
they should not be given to state governments and public information
agency's. I don't think military records should become the property of
the states and its a dangerous threat to privacy acts of 1974 which states are
violating with confiscated medical and personal records of individuals.
The Army and military as a whole should accept this same responsibility on
intimidation and retaliation at all levels from DoD down to the independent
services. The VA as Veterans learned from he best, DoD with the previous 4-star
general at the head. When an individual in the military tries to elevate a
problem or abuse, it doesn't go very far before the chain-of-command
thwarts the efforts with direct orders or other direct involvement.
VA won't tolerate healthcare either.
yeap and a barry appointee he'll get to the bottom of it, period.
