Our military leadership is just weak, and can't handle this kind of
Wow the story just keeps getting better everyday.....next Hilary will be saying
it was about an exercise video?
Our civilian Commander In Chief is weak, and his Secretary of Defense is
incompetent as well.Frankly, Obama's bigger problem is that he
chronically tells us things that are not true. I have no reason to believe his
assertions about Bergdahl any more than his claims that "If I liked my
doctor...."Senior military officials gave sound advice
throughout this whole affair. Obama's one-sided swap of five terror
masterminds for one U.S. deserter at a time when he was getting bad press over
other incompetent actions taking place is nothing but a cynical ploy to divert
attention, and simultaneously unilaterally close down Guantanamo Bay by freeing
the really evil prisoners housed there. When we cannot trust our
President to tell the truth, about anything, we are in serious trouble.
obama and his administration: baloney barry and baloney serving administration.
What difference does it make? Plenty. Telling the truth is important.
Our politicians have once again shown what a poor example they can be.
They've taken what should have been a success story and turned it into a
media joke. Shame on the politicians because they did. Shame on the media for
helping them. Military leaders are weak? Is this the same leaders that
captured bin Laden? How pitiful this country is becoming!
Threat to Bergdahl? What about a threat to others, because five
murdering terrorists are freed?
I thought he was traded because his health was so poor, and the Administration
wanted to bring him home to save him.Is it me, or is this starting
to be another Benghazi type propaganda effort?
I don't disagree with bringing Bergdahl back, but the method doesn't
justify the means. Just like every deal that has been brokered by this
administration, the American people are left holding the bag. How many bad
deals will the people of this country put up with? Breaking the law in the name
of executive authority sounds like a ponzi scheme to me? How is it this
President and previous are above the law their administration is sworn to
uphold. Prosecute any and all public officials the same way any other citizen
would be prosecuted. Regardless if it is speeding, stealing, or abuse of power.
The tit for tat, good ol' boy, Americans are sheep politics has to stop.As for Bergdahl let the UCMJ, without spin and executive privilege or
politics, decide his fate and determine what happened. Now that we
have legitimized the Taliban as a government that has the ability to broker
deals with the US, let's get out of their country, provide their opposition
with the tools and ammunition to protect themselves, and let their civil war
take its course.
Bergdahl was not captured! He moved there on his free will.We freed five terrorists who killed, and beheaded men, women, and children for
Bergdahls release. Thank you commander in chief.
When Congressional and Presidential elected officials along with a myriad of
bureaucrats have no military experience it is a shame for our country. Even
with prior Senators such as Secretaries of State and Defense are in their
present positions they had less than sterling actions then and now.Military Generals are involved with scandals when their military codes call
for honor and integrity. We appear to have leadership problems at many levels.
We used to deal with people called deserters with UCMJ but now are
on a pedestal.
