Displaying extreme hubris is just asking for it. Why are we so short-sited?
New YorkerBO IS hubris - he just cannot help himself
"It's an honor to join in your memories, to recall and to reflect, but
above all to reaffirm the true spirit of 9/11 — love, compassion,
sacrifice — and to enshrine it forever in the heart of our nation . . .
““Love, compassion, sacrifice . . .” Yes, the
nation melded together and that was goodBut the nation reached out
for a leader . . . and settled on GW Bush. And that was very, very bad. It’s really too bad that 911 will be linked now and forevermore with
GW’s WMD scandal and the needless deaths of over 4,000 more Americans . .
. service members . . . And the deaths of over 100,000 Iraqis who never attacked
us.Republican leadership took a national disaster they could have
prevented . . . and amplified into a disaster of much greater proportions.Such is the nature of Republican national leadership.
Obama had about as much to do with 9/11 as a penguin in the south pole.....Where
was Guiliani and Bush? They were the REAL leaders during 9-11.....especially
Rudy Guiliani! Just goes to show how screwed up NYC really is?
Obama is a bit mixed up. The US is not likely to be destroyed by terrorists or
outsiders unless we are foolish enough to allow it by cutting back our military
strength. We are more likely to be done in by poor domestic management of
deficit spending, medical costs, illegal aliens, common core education, overuse
of "emergency" executive orders, proposed gun controls, highly
exaggerated global warming policies and moral decay. We are also being pulled
down as the general will of the people is overrun by the judicial system. We are
currently our own worst enemy.
Obama should give a raise to his speech writers. The words are more
powerful than his actions.
Obama.....speak softly and carry a big hashtag
