    What a huge victory for those of us who like to know what we are eating! It is nothing more than freedom of information and truth in labeling, but you can bet the all-powerful food industry will fight it until it gets overturned. Maybe other states could ride the momentum of this win with their own legislation.

    I hate to break the news to some of you folks but ALL your food has been genetically modified. Where do you think Holstein cows come from, or potatoes or corn or beans or lettuce or chickens or.....? Its called plant or animal breeding where genetics are altered and modified. Ignorance prevails in Vermont and other places! It means your food prices will now increase and will not provide you any benefit, period!
