I'm not sure Ms. Clinton's message will be received well in 2016. If
we have our politicians promoting an open culture of honest debate and forward
thinking, what will happen to our society? I am much more in favor of our
politicians furiously promoting single causes and lecturing their opponents in
place of compromise. Here in Utah we have a rich history of hierarchical scolds
defending our time-honored values and Washington could learn a thing or two in
There is an excellent reason college students tend to have more
"idealism". Its called inexperience! They haven't lived long enough
to figure out real life! Wait until they actually work 20 or 40 years for a
living and pay taxes, then they will be qualified to rule the rest of us!
@ MountanmanProgress rests on the backs of idealists. The argument
you present is completely transferable for defending feudalism. These young
folks aren't grateful for the Lord. After twenty or forty years of
subsistence living, they'll change their minds - mark my words.
Fake words from someone who was under gunfire in Bosnia.
