The party of compromise?Hardly.
The rich do not use more govt resources just because they made a lot of
money.Barack is going to spend the same whether Mitt Romney makes
$100k this year or $10 million. Only a lazy person would suggest
simply because one person earned more money that they should pay for what I use.
Mitt Romney and I use essentially the same govt resources. I would be lazy if
I insisted Mitt pay for my share.
Obama & Democrats already raised taxes in 2012 by over $600 Billion. But
that's not enough for them.So they included tax increases in
Obamacare that will be felt in 2013 and 2014.But that's not
enough either. They want more of your money. They want taxes to go
up again. We don't have a cash flow problem in the Treasury.
Rather, we have a huge spending problem that has been propagated by both
parties. At this point in time, there is only one party talking about reducing
spending, and one party insisting on raising taxes to spend more.It
should be an easy decision November 2014.
Fact: Federal revenues (taxes) as a percent of GDP have gone since BO took
office and are at there lowest since the 1950's.Fact: The number of
Federal goverment employees has gone down since BO took office.Fact: The
current congress of the United States has the lowest approval ratings of any in
our country's history. It matters not what BO offered up or will offer
up. The GOP as a party cannot stop it's infighting long enough to
negotiate or compormise on anything significant (budgets, immigration, etc.)with
the Democrats. They're just trying to run out the clock, playing for a tie
in hopes the next election cycles fall in their favor.
@ FT. Your "facts" are baloney.Federal reserves? The national debt
is now higher than our GDP under Obama. Higher tax reserves are not a good
thing. It only means the government is confiscating too much of our productivity
and harming the economy. The number of federal government employees are
lower ONLY if you do not include the military, other wise its gone up under
Obama. Our current President has a lower approval number than did GWB
during the Iraq war.The GOP has not stopped Obama on anything. Everything
Obama wanted, he got, period! Higher taxes, Obamacare, "stimulus"
bailouts, DOMA destroyed, Iraq exit, doubled the number of food stamp
recipients, raised the debt ceiling again. And now Obama is seeing the
consequences of his policies and Democrats are running for cover!
I hear about the President and Congress but I have never heard any thing about
the Sennett. Whats up with them.
@ MontanmanIt's revenues, not reserves and just google it. Also,
google federal workers, excluding military and you'll see that they have
gone down as well. To know the truth you need to know the facts.@ george
of the jungleThe Senate is part of congress and the Dem's are
contributing to the lowest ratings as well as the Republicans.
