    What if the president pays no attention to the constitution that limits his powers? We have that problem in the US with Obama so much so that even the SCOTUS has promised to consider this problem and rule on the question. But given the ridiculous rulings (Obamacare is a tax) in the recent past, I doubt the high court will reign him in. He is totally unaccountable, can do whatever he wants, spends money with no restrictions, change laws at his discretion and make congress irrelevant with no repercussions; classic government out of control!

    So lets look at the recent history of executive orders, considered the benchmark for measuring a presidents use of power. Obama has issued 168, fewer then George W. Bush by this point in his administration who issued a total of 291. George Bush sr. issued 166 in his one term, two less then Obama in his first term. Reagan issued 381 and four presidents issued over 1,000. Shown in the light of history Obamas recent actions hardly seems like the power grab some would like us to believe.

    @ Spring Street. For the 17.3 trillionth time (and growing by 500 billion everyday), it isn't the NUMBER of executive orders we should be concerned about its the KIND of executive orders where laws passed by congress are changed, added too or eliminated (Obamacare and immigration laws) investigations are covered up (fast and furious) and using his pen and phone to legislate making congress irrelevant. Every dictator tyrant the world has ever seen has done exactly the same thing!

    rhetoric is cheap, please do tell us exactly how any executive order he has signed has had any different effect then the thousands of orders issued by past presidents, do you really think past orders were any different then the ones he has signed? then lets see the proof. everyone seems to want to conveniently ignore the fact that the ACA was passed by congress it was not an executive order,

    Spring Street. The Supreme Court has agreed to hear and rule on Obama's use of executive privilege. What does that tell you? Obama's misuse of power therefore has caught the attention of the highest court in the land! Do you think they would waste their time if there is nothing going on?
    By the way, no one is saying the ACA was not passed by congress but Obama has made 17 changes in the law without congressional approval. Even Nancy Pelosi, on a talk show Sunday, when asked about the Obamacare failure said, "I don't know, I am not responsible"! Imagine that!

    you do remember what happened at the supreme court when they tried to do away with the mandate on the ACA right? the simple fact that republicans turn to the courts every-time they do not get their way does not mean much.

    @Spring street. The Republicans got the supreme court to call Obamacare a "Tax"? Imagine that, who knew the GOP had so much power over the Supreme Court. If only the GOP had known that when the court shot down the DOMA!

    @mountainman
    first who claimed the GOP had power over the supreme court? Spring street said the GOP turned to the courts not that the courts are ruled by the GOP but nice try. second the supreme court declaring it a tax did noting to reverse the law, so simply because the supreme court takes up a case does not mean that the plaintiff will prevail.

    So no one has anything pertinent to express regarding Ukraine, but TB uses yet another unrelated story to hang Obama with the "dictator tyrant" scare words. Doesn't this kind of thing ever get old?
