If they win, they aren't going to get what they think they are going to
get. Since you will have to pay every single student athlete the same amount...
the football players will get about $500 a semester after they pay all the other
athletes in all the other programs. Think Women's Lacrosse and Men's
Soccer and ...
How much more will season tickets cost.
I don't think any public school or college has the right to charge fees to
watch student body players of sporting events. This is unconstitutional as the
schools are doing it for the purpose of profit and not education
requirements.Schools cannot sell the student body to private
interest to make money, its a violation of rights and labor laws to use minors
in any jobs intended to make the school or government money.I have
reserved endorsement of this union of college students. The tax payers should
not be the fall guy to schools cost of operations. Any student on a grant or
subsidized student loan or contract funded by tax payers should not be eligible
to earn money from tax payers as student. All College level sports
are rated as amateur and not professional and paying people for services
dissolves their status as amateur and a taxable liability. Tax payers cannot be
held accountable to fund an hire professionals sports figures as advertising, is
illegal for schools to use tax funds. This union violates the
armature rules and laws in the education system, tax funds cannot buy
representative for students.
