Yes, the lap dog members of his party will hoot and hollar at everything he
says. Journalist will count the number of times his speech is interrupted. But,
like the rest of his presidency, not much good will happen.The only
thing he promised that has some unfortunate chance of happening -his medical
plan-reminds me of the Native American chief who said this about promises from
Washington, DC: "They broke every promise but one. They promised to take our
land and they did!"Obama promised a government take over of the
best medical care in the world and it may happen.
Barack thinks its a success that people on food stamps have doubled in the past
5 years. With a belief like that, there is no "hope" for positive
If we had a real leader as President, he would tell Americans the truth about
prosperity. He would encourage young people to be productive, not to have
children out of wedlock, to stay off drugs and alcohol and not to smoke dope. He
would encourage young people to achieve something in their lives, to work hard
and to study hard to take advantage of the wonderful education opportunities
that are available in this country and they will become prosperous. He would
warn young people not to waste their lives away smoking pot or playing video
games all day because if they do, they will take themselves out of prosperity.
But Obama will tell us how unfair the income gap is in America and that we must
have income redistribution. He won't tell us the truth that income
redistribution punishes achievement, hard work and will guarantee we will have
much less of it at every level of our society.
When I was in college, there was no grade fairness either.Some
students got higher grades than I did.Just not fair!
Obama has vacations to Hawaii.Half of Congress are millionairs.Where's the economic fairness in that?
