If people knew how the Great R was engineered by the fine people of Wall Street,
they would not just "occupy" it.
I really do not feel very bad for the baby boomers because I believe they are
the generation to blame for the problems. Hippies, drugs, divorce, raising
spoiled kids, greediness, raising the home prices because of greediness, etc.
Individually, I feel sorry for the baby boomers, but not as a group. They voted
the mess we've gotten in place. They voted for Carter. They voted for
Reagan. Spend, spend, spend, borrow, borrow, and borrow. Where was the
outrage. Where is it now? Now... in 20 years when my generation
gets old enough to reap what we've sown, my grandkids and children will be
saying the same thing about my generation. And they'll be right! Unless
we fix it. Simple math, but Congress can't seem to get it.
Spend less than you get. Works for families, works for churches, it can work
for our country too. Only one way, that's for members of their
own parties to start calling their own leaders out. Democrats that care will
start telling their party to cut spending. If it doesn't happen, more pain
is coming. Republicans that care will call their party out when it acts like
Big Gov't after promising otherwise. Just look at the results of
"Republican held" eras.... Massive spending, yuck!. Both parties will
have to come up with more revenue some how in the meantime. Long live
