UW had a good blueprint. Better special teams play and that's a win for
them. Utah is capable of playing them that tough if the defense shows up like it
did last week. Hoping for another fantastic game, great finish, and a Utah W
My only thought on this is that utah is extremely lucky they don't play
Washington this year. It appears they get some sort of schedule break every year
in the pac12 and even so keep posting losing records. I'm not sure they
will ever have a winning pac12 record.
What a surprise; another PAC 12 game ends with a controversial call. Was the ball touching the ground really "indisputable" enough to
overturn the completed pass call on the field? The Utes are in big
trouble this week. Not only is Stanford a much better team, PAC 12 officiating
obviously favors the Cardinal.
@DuckhunterSeriously? The past two years you told Utah fans how
fortunate we were not having to play Stanford and Oregon. Now The Utes play #2
Oregon and #5 Stanford instead of Cal and Washington and you say we are
"extremely lucky" with this years scheduling?Utah
"haters" never cease to amaze me!LOL
@utesby5Yes, extremely lucky they don't have to play washington
instead of washington st, although I don't think washington st is any sort
of sure win for utah this year. It appears that each year utah has gotten a
break and not had to play at least one, and actually the first two seasons 2, of
the best teams in the conference.Your inability to comprehend that
utah is getting another scheduling break by not having to play washington
doesn't change the fact that utah is getting another scheduling break by
not having to play washington. They got to play two teams they actually have a
chance of beating, osu which they lost anyway, and wsu which they may lose to as
well, instead of one team which they would have had zero chance of beating in
washington, and another team that is about a toss up in cal. You
know just because I am the one that posts it doesn't mean it is simply hate
or incorrect. utah "fans", like yourself, who appear to have no ability
to see truth when it slaps them in the face, are what keeps me amused around
phoenix, just like it did last year at ND, right?
"You know just because I am the one that posts it doesn't mean it is
simply hate or incorrect."Just because you post it doesn't
mean you are correct, either.
@stgNo it doesn't, but in this case I am. How not having to
play a top 25 team is not a scheduling break is something I'm waiting to
have explained to me, especially when that team is a team utah has NEVER beaten.
I understand that things are tough right now for utah
"fans", utah has been extremely poor in conference since joining the
pac12 and utah "fans" had been proclaiming immediate rose bowls and
instead they've been uncompetitive. That's a tough pill to swallow. I
also understand having guys like me come on here and not just remind you about
it but also get some digs in over it is a tough pill to swallow. But that is
what you guys asked for with your deluded proclamations of immediate grandeur
and arrogance. Deal with it.
In a conference with 5/12 teams in the top 25, most teams won't play all of
them every season. Utah has arguably the toughest schedule in the conference
this year, and because they play literally ALL but one of the very good teams,
you call that a lucky break? It's obvious that you're more concerned
with getting your digs in than being rational in any argument.
Keep in mind PAC groupies:you will also be playing against the officials for the
rest of the season, possibly with the exception of the CU game. Good luck!
@stg"It's obvious that you're more concerned with
getting your digs in..."Maybe, so what. The fact is that it is a
break, no way to spin it otherwise. Would you prefer to play uw instead of wsu?
Over time the balance of power will shift back and forth between the
pac north and the pac south, right now the power is in the pac north and that
has given utah the advantage of not having to play all the very best teams in
the pac all 3 years they have been in the league. The first two years they
didn't have to play stanford and oregon, an obvious schedule advantage,
this year they don't have to play washington which might be the 3rd best
team in the pac12 and that is an obvious advantage. At some point the 3 best
teams will be in the south and then utah will not get any breaks, but for now
they are getting breaks, as you pointed out that is how it works when you
don't play every team every year.
