Congress tweets...Who is being stupid?Who voted to send
us to DC?
There is a time and a place to do something. ACA is the law. If the extremeist
do not like it, then there is the normal legislative period to modify the law.
Holding back funding is not the way it is done. The Tea Party and camp
following Republican Congressmen know this, but will trample the Constitution to
get their selfish way. This law is to help those who can not affors health
care, and they are poor and middle class and of no consequence to them. They do
not contribute enough to their campaigns. The 800,000 Federal workers are also
no concern even if many are Republican.Share the pain and terminate
contracts thet are funded yearly. 30 Sept was the last day of the fiscal year
and if they are funded by some magic trick, it is fraud.
If the Tea Party wanted a debate on the ACA, they have had five years to have
it. Shutting the government down to have a debate is wrong. If the Tea Party
had better ideas, they have had five years to share them. Shutting the
government down is the wrong answer. Right now we have 80 members of the house
have brought the government to a standstill. That is not democracy. The non
tea party republicans need to grow a backbone and end this foolishness.

don't agree with how this is being handled, but let's not sound
uneducated based upon personal bias.
There You Go AgainI like what you said. For me that includes most
of the Democrats like Reid and Pelosi.
You can blame:* Boehner* Republicans* Ted Cruz*
The Tea Party* Rush LimbaughBut, who is in charge? Obama! The
President. The President is in charge, not Boehner. If students
are held accountable for test scores, than our president is accountable to
upholding the Constitution.
Worf,A little constitutional lesson, the President does not control
the legislature we have three separate branches of government, each responsible
for their actions, none of which can be superseded by another branch. You can
argue that the President should have done more to try and get the leaders in
both houses to grow up and work together for the good of the country, and if
that were your argument, it would be a legitimate one, but at the end of the day
this is on congress and no one else. Blame both parties in congress
if you want, I wouldn't argue that either. But at the end of the day
congress has to make choices about legislation and the tea party republicans are
trying to blackmail and to this point successfully I might add, the rest of
congress into doing what they want. There is no courage from the moderate
republicans, and no statesmanship from either party, and no consideration for
the American people from a single member of congress.
@Fred44--perhaps Obama is in need of a little constitutional lesson.I'm just pointing out where the blame has been aimed. Yes, even to
Rush.Obama is like a bad teacher who can't manage a noisy out
of control classroom.
freddyyou are right so why are libs wanting non libs to rollover and give
barry everything he wants. you might want to educate your
"constitutional"community organizer that he DOES NOT control the budget
and to grow up.
