Funding Obama's government with open check books, unlimited, no questions
answered unaccountability, and unlimited credit cards is very, very expensive
for our grandchildren. Just so no to Obama! Do it for the future of our children
and grandchildren. Our nation's future economic survival is at stake!
The Senate bill should be voted upon. Anything else is legislative extortion.
How many weeks of unpaid non-essential furlough are needed to balance the
budget?I think the answer is expressed in years, maybe decades.Maybe
we could get them to work three weeks, then take one off without pay.Or
maybe 25% of government workers could be fired.Gee, that's starting
to sound like real life.Do you know someone out of work? Maybe their
company went out of business? In the real world you live within your means
or you fold. But this little manufactured crisis is just a political pout.
It'll be over in a few days. And we'll still be printing money and
spending more than we take in.(Sigh)
@one vote it is scheduled to be voted on today stop the hysterics.
asks yourselves this, if defunding the ACA is so important the why after two
elections were this issues has been before the voters does the GOP still lack
the votes to pass a clean bill on this issue (not attach it to a must pass
legislation) and why is their still a president that would veto it?
spring street--our people lack education. That's why so many are in
poverty, and can't feed themselves. Our voters make decisions
based on pep rallies more than substance Like so many passed civilizations, and
current countries. This is why dishonest leaders get into office.
@worfSo then in 2006 when they voted Republicans into a majority in the
house the voters were brilliant but when they elected then reelected president
Obama and a majority of democrats into the senate they were suddenly stupid?
sorry wrong year but you get the point.
spring street,--people can be fooled by both republicans, and democrats.
Doesn't matter.Voters are gullible to who makes the best
promises. Doesn't matter if the promises are true or false. It's
like a bruised up wife who can't understand that her husband is abusive.
They can't see what Obama is doing to this country. I never believed Obama
would cut the deficit in half, or not raise taxes more than a single dime. Obama
Care is about control, not our health.Keep on believing. Maybe the
light bulb will come on someday.
Socialized medicine, redistribution of wealth, class warfare, forced charity,
big brother, government monopoly--call it what you will. The fight over the
Affordable Care Act/Obamacare represents a core division among Americans. These questions may help us decide:1. Is it constitutional for a
majority of citizens and their representatives to tax themselves for the benefit
of the poor? 2. Are government assistance programs more or less efficient
than private welfare?3. Are government assistance and private charity
mutually exclusive?4. Does charitable giving enable bad behavior?
(Assuming the poor deserve their poverty)5. Do the wealthy deserve their
wealth? (Assuming the growing disparity in wealth is justified)
