If this health care is so good,--Why are our government leaders exempt from it?
Considering barack has added more to the national debt than all past presidents
COMBINED, you'll have to forgive me if whenever barack tells us something
about the economy my reaction is we should do the exact opposite.
worfYou comment highlights the fact that many people have not taken
the time to study and understand the new Affordable Care Act. For example, the
"Government Leaders" (congress, et al) are NOT exempt from it. Just
google Affordable Health Care myths, that or just keep listing to right wing
radio with the blinders on.
With or Without the ACA, the economy is going to collapse. Implementing the ACA
will only cause the collapse to happen sooner. As much as I hate the idea, it
might be best to keep the ACA so we do not have to hear Barack, on his
continuing campaign speech tour, saying "See! I told you so." After the
collapse things can be put right and the ACA repealed. Contrary to its title,
the country cannot afford the ACA.
@Chris B"Considering barack has added more to the national debt than
all past presidents COMBINED"The debt is 16.7 trillion. It was
10.6 trillion the day Bush left.
atl is right. Add to that the fact that Obama's first year in office was
under the budget set by the previous administration - Bush & co. You recall
Bush - the president who came into office following a yearly surplus racked up
under Clinton? That surplus lasted about 10 minutes.
That’s the way to work a bi-partisan deal – mock the other side.
But then that’s the best we can expect from BO, continual campaigning and
never anything productiveAfraid it will succeed? Even its author
said it is a trainwreck.Parkcityaggie,You chastise worf for
not reading it – how about nancy and the dems for not reading it before
they passed it?alt134I see you could offer no defense of
obamacare. BO hasn’t double it – yet – but he is on course to
Parkcityaggie....that's double talk.....the Politicians do not have
Obamacare and their employees are exempt!
Liljenquist argues that the failure of ACA will lead to single-payer/universal
health care. How does that fit into the predictions of Republicans
who are pushing for it to fail faster?
ParkCityAggieObamacare is not part of the FEHB....that is why Pelosi
recently complained of the potential problem of hiring good staff! Politicians
on Medicare are not forced to use Obamacare and even Obama who stated that he
would too be on Obamacare, won't according to the Whitehouse!Obamacare is a disaster and he is the one who knows that it will fail! But
Obama could care less....this is just a tax increase that he has always
wanted.......we will still have 30 million uninsured....and Obamacare will kill
all barry can do is mock as he has no plan, no ideas, ( except raising taxes and
givng more to takers and less to makers). you can't criticize the C.O.
because that means you are racist, yet he can mock everyone. groupies still love
the great orator.
@lost in DC"That’s the way to work a bi-partisan deal –
mock the other side." I actually completely agree we know this from watching
the far right do it for he past 6 years. Of course they have been very clear
they want our country fail under this president>
I guess its all a matter of your definition of success: Having the taxpayers
pay for your healthcare, as well as take away your liberty, or keeping your
liberty and being responsible for your own life! The Entitlement generation is
alive and well. A sad day for America, but I'm hoping there are enough
liberty minded citizens left to steer this ship away from tyranny and socialism.
The Kingmen are alive and well in our nation's capital. The common man has
Obama is for health care?:* Our country, doubles the exports of
military weapons,--than Russia, and China combined. This is
destroying, and not health care.
@ParkCityAggie:I really wouldn't mind you being right. We pick and choice who to believe. Try the Forbes magazine.
The Kingmen and the Kingmen supporters are alive and well in Washington D.C.
Anyone that thinks the Republican or Democratic leaders are nothing more than
modern day Kingmen, you are either naive or are a supporter of them. The
Uniparty, Democrats and Republicans, have supported Socialism for many years
while the common man has been saddled with their evil designs. Those who throw
their weight behind these leaders, with a few exceptions, either doesn't
understand personal liberty or are trying to wield the same power to control
men's lives as they do. How sad for them. The Kingmen and Gadiantons are
alive and well in our nation's capital.
@lost in DC"I see you could offer no defense of obamacare."I wasn't aware I needed to. Besides people are finding that the
programs in states that were proactive enough to set them up (Maryland, the
Kynect program in Kentucky) are quite appealing to the public (wait til the
Kentuckians find out that's their states' Obamacare exchange...) and
affordable, particularly with the subsidies that'll be in place for
individuals making less than 3x the poverty line, and subsidies to employers to
help them better afford it. As for everything else, the people already support
it anyway (ending lifetime limits, ending pre-existing condition denials, etc).
