    The Tallest Ferris Wheel in the world,
    in Las Vegas, NV,
    55-stories high,
    celled the High Roller,
    cost $550 million,
    100 feet taller than the London Eye,
    30 feet taller than China's Star of Nanchang,
    and 9 feet taller than the Singapore Flyer,
    yet dwarfed by the Stratosphere observation tower at 1,000 feet,

    and The High Roller will surrender its tallest in the world title before long.
    New York City, plans a 625-foot ride on Staten Island's waterfront.

    @ airnaut: Well, we know it is less than 625 feet tall.... ;)

    The London Eye is 443 feet tall - that will make the High Roller 543 feet.
