He wouldn't be lying to us again would he?
Is Bill exempt from Obama Care?
It's interesting and even somewhat ironic that "Slick Willy" is
touted as having more clout now than when he was in office. The time
for fixing an erroneous law is before it's passed... not after. As Nancy
Pelosi's infamous statement suggested... "That's why we need to
pass it, so we can see what's in it." That still stands as one of the
dumbest political statements ever made. And since this law was
passed, dozens of major problems have surfaced with it. Enough so, that it very
well might be best to scrap the entire thing and start over with something that
actually makes sense. We were originally told that this law would
reduce health care costs for most Americans. Now we're being told that
instead of reducing costs, it will "slow down the rate of health care cost
increases"... which is very vague and open ended as to what that could
actually mean. There has never been a program in the history of our
country that hasn't become more expensive and less efficient after the
government got involved. Never! And yes, Worf, Bill is exempted...
just like the rest of Congress is.
So, Again I will ask.The GOP has been touting REPEAL and REPLACE for
2 years now. What is their replacement plan. Actual legislation, not
platitudes. If they spent as much time working on replacement
legislation as they have voting to repeal, I might believe their rhetoric. One just might think they really have no replacement plan, or desire to
Don't worry about it. We are arranging a nice little war with Syria to
take your minds off of this.
JoeBlow:Why does the government have to create any plan? They are
not our parents. You've got to quit thinking that way.Trust the
people to have their own health care plan. Trust the people to set up their own
education. We are are not sheep, and the feds are not the shepherd.
"Why does the government have to create any plan? "2 things.
1) fine, then stop saying repeal and replace. Be honest with the
American People. 2) Why? Well, we have medicare and medicaid. And
we have an increasing portion of our incomes going to health care. The cost
increases are a threat to this country. They are unsustainable. The
health care industry is maximizing their profits and the "capitalistic"
system is failing when it comes to healthcare. Highest cost in the world with
less than stellar results. That is WHY
He is preparing for his wife's run for the President of the United States
of America. That would make him the First Man of the United States of America.
We know he would do anything for William Jefferson Clinton, above
that of our nation. His wife's attempt at Health Care Reform
in 1993 was her big effort to become her man's best friend, after the
affairs in Arkansas. She lost her healthcare reform but gained as Secretary of
State when she sold out to President Obama during the Democratic Primary
processes in 2007-2008.She is still a formidable opponent against
the GOP who is still looking for an identity through principles, not public
polls. Entitlements are all some people understand and you can buy
votes with entitlements with someone else paying the costs. The GOP
needs to stop using sidelines and trying to win the game from there. They need
to use solid principles and not being divided as the country and parties were
prior to the Civil War.We have too much to lose and the ACA was
passed by Congress when they listened to a President say, "Pass ACA and then
read" the small print that eats.
@JoeBlow:* Unsustainable?--Good reason to eliminate federal
control. Let the local areas, or individuals, handle health care. We have too
many people dependent on government as their parents, and need to be waned
off.Without dependence, people will be motivated to handle this.
Like a young man whose parents can't afford to buy him car, he will find a
way. Dependence should be replaced by motivation, urgency, grit, and drive.
People can do things.Bill Clinton is not doing us any good with a
speech like this.* The word repeal, in this case,-means get rid of.
