It is quite clear that selective enforcement (or better-said NON-enforcement) is
the way the game is played.Obama has shown that in spades. Take worksite
raids. Obama simply decided NOT to do them...or No-match letters...or 287g
programs.Instead he wrote an order and required new deportation hearings
for 300,000 people who had already been through the BIA courts.Obviously,
enforcement is a long-standing problem when one third of all foreign-born are
here illegally.Confidence level is LOW.
The elites are effectively lawless, as Obama amply demonstrates -- they can do
what ever the want with no consequence. Foreigners are favored by them for cheap
labor (greater profits for the 1%) so they get a pass on breaking laws also. The
average US citizen is another story, as laws are enforced vehemently on them --
hence the US with 25% of worlds prisoners with only 5% of population.A greater point is why do we even need to import 40 million more foreigners
when we already have 20 million citizens without work? The Senate's
immigration bill will destroy this nation with ever lower wages and ever higher
unemployment, while the 1% walk away with ever greater profits from the imported
cheap labor, both skilled and unskilled (H1B visas). The US has the most liberal
immigration of any nation already, and this has led to the dire economy and mass
unemployment we have now, and we want to increase the problems just so the rich
can get richer? How did this country, founded on principles of freedom, get so
corrupt and oppressive?
There are amble valid reasons to question the current Senate-passed immigration
reform proposal. And the list keeps growing. If the reason of Obama's
professional, ethically related actions carries any weight, then everything done
that has been associated with him, should be delayed. His conduct has been very
suspect and controversial for quite some time. And almost every week there are
new disclosures of administration scandals that come to light. All of this after
a campaign promise to be the most open and visible administration in history.
Wow, is it proving to be anything but! There seems to be a growing
number of Obama voters that now wish they hadn't been. They are not getting
what they expected and were promised. While on the other hand, there are many of
us that aren't really all that surprised, though still disappointed in all
the broken promises.
