    Let's hope this is nothing more than another grandstanding GOP stunt to make headlines. That would just further tarnish the GOP brand. Kerry is now a member of the Executive branch of government and doesn't take directives from the Congress on how to do his job. It's called separation of powers.

    The GOP lawmakers should propose that they withhold the same amount of their own salaries if they continue to accomplish absolutely nothing in the next go-around in congress. Make that 100% of their salaries withheld; at present, they're completely useless.

    The Senate is no model of legislative efficiency but it’s an orderly operation compared to the House which seems more and more like the Wild West where anyone can do anything they get a sudden whim to do. Procedure, decorum, and protocol are just words that misfit troupe of Vaudeville players hasn’t enough curiosity for to look up in the dictionary.

    People with more wealth than Romney:

    * Kerry
    * Nancy Pelosi
    * Obama
    * Al Gore
    * Bill Clinton

    Where's the outrage of greed? This is discrimination.

    @ RanchHand. You are right, Republicans gave Obama and the Democrats everything they wanted; strike down the DOMA, same sex marriage, Obamacare, higher taxes on the "rich", double the food stamp recipients, getting the IRS, Benghazi, fast and furious, NSA spying, A.P. scandals swept under the rug, massive increases in the national debt and huge growth in the federal government. Republicans are worthless!

    Republicans have no grit.

    I'm not sure that worf's list is accurate, but even if it is, he misses the point. It's not that Romney has loads of money, but that his money made him disconnected.

    Mark B--it's accurate. Disconnected from what? Romney donated alot of money to different organizations.

    Hey worf, If that is true then please show where you got your numbers from. If there is any.

    Kerry might be wealthier than Romney. Obama finished paying off his student loan in 2004. He wrote a book that sold well but is he in a higher income bracket than Romney? I seriously doubt that.

    Worf, many Americans, though not you, of course, concluded that Romney just didn't know enough about normal, middle class people. Sure, it's terrific when you can write a check to support a worthy cause, but that isn't the same as connecting to people, which is kind of important for a presidential candidate. Just ask Kerry or GHW Bush.

    not here--do your own homework. The facts are clear.

    Mark B-- please define "connecting to people". Give some examples of Obama connecting to people.

    @ worf

    From Celebrity Networth...

    Obama $11.8 Million
    Nancy $35,5 Million
    Bill Clinton $80 Million
    Kerry $194 Million
    Romney $250 Million
    Al Gore $300 Million

    Not that it matters or has anything to do with the story, but making up stuff to support your comments
    is just as bad as hate radio making stuff up to fill their coffers with your money.
