I am not a politician but if I was I would be really glad that I am not in that
photo. Is that Monica Lewinski behind Joe Biden?
“Treasury said it expects any impact to be minor, since most people will
not risk telling the government a lie. Still, it's another incentive for
uninsured people to ignore a new government requirement that for many will cost
hundreds of dollars.” More will than they think, especially
since the fine is $95. And everyone (except dems, apparently) knows that 95 is
less than hundreds.“The employer requirement was never
designed to get large numbers of uninsured people covered. Instead, lawmakers
meant it as a guardrail, to keep employers from dropping coverage and shifting
responsibility to the government.”Yeah, but like most pieces
of dem-drafted legislation, it fails miserably, as employers will find the fines
less than the cost of providing insurance, so even MORE will drop their
plans.“Largely ignored was the enforcement link between the
two mandates. The IRS, which will police both, was to receive the now-delayed
coverage reports from employers and use those to check compliance by
individuals. So the already amok IRS will have bad data – that
means they’ll have ANOTHER excuse to target conservatives. Oh, we thought
they were cheating on Obamacare!
The scary part of this article is that it states one could face prison for not
complying, weather intentionally or inadvertantly. Lets hope our prisons have
a nice health-care plan.
The mess of this health care law is going to be a lot like the mess of the tax
law. It is so big and complicated that no one will really know and understand
what it requires, what is says, what it means, and what to do about it. Thank
you Congress, especially Democrats, for once again making a law that everyone
can be accused of breaking no matter what they do. There ought to be a law
against stuff like that............
I've tried to read the Obama-Pelosie-Reed bill and it is so convoluted,
iffy, legal jargon loaded that all it will do is enable lawyers, clog the courts
and give IRS accountants life time employment. And nowhere could I find
anything that hinted at saving folks money or time in trying to make it work for
them. It should be dumped and we begin with small easy to understand bills that
can be constantly evaluated and improved. The current bill is a bloated
Frankenstein monstrosity that will add to our over the cliff debt.
If God still does Bless America, that Bill would be revoked, reworked and half
of it dropped.Half of the Bill is good and sustainable. The other
half would be the final straw in the economic collapse of our once great nation.
USAlover,we've given Him no reason to bless us - just the opposite.
