Ahhhh. So, the idea of running for an office specifically to defeat someone of
the the other party is not just a Republican trait after all... "You should
feel incredibly proud..."
I don't like this.Even though Bachmann was a horrible
representative who missed a lot and merely served as a puppet for the Koch Bros,
I don't like this. Run to serve. Once you win, serve. What this democrat
did was run to destroy... Destroy the political career of rep. Bachmann (which
didnt need much help to destroy in the first place). Now who wins? Certainly not
the voters in that district. Where do they go from here?To me, I
expect more out of fellow democrats. I get that the GOP would do this. But I
can't believe that the Democrats would stoop to the repubs level. This actually reminds me of Mia Love. Does anyone expect that she has ideas or
plans? That she will make a difference? No. We all know that she is merely
serving to destroy Jim Matheson's career. She doesn't care about us.
She doesn't care about America. She merely desires the power and
recognition of destroying Mr. Matheson. How sad!
I really, really, really hope Michelle reconsiders.
How did the political process become such a hate-filled venue? It's not
about the public at large anymore, but about who can better the other person by
creating the worst smear campaign ever, and then drop out after someone else
chooses not to run to claim victory. UGH-LY!
The honesty of his decision is refreshing. He would do a better job
representing his district than she ever did.Terming this
'hate' is hyperbole.
Terming this anything but "hate" is dishonest. If you love your
community, state, or country, and you have better ideas than the incumbent, then
run and serve if you have the desire and you're capable of doing it.
Sounds like if he had run against Bachman and won, his job would have been over
once the votes were counted.
I hope she reconsiders, too. She brings a brand of crazy to the table that
almost no one else matches. Except maybe sarah.
Typical dem, nothing to add, can only detract.
@lost in DC 10:37 p.m. June 1, 2013Typical dem, nothing to add, can
only detract.----------------------He didn't
detract from anything and, in fact, he added abundantly to the welfare of the
country. How did he do this? He got out of office an incompetent nutjob who,
with her cohorts, had been tearing down the country. Kudos to him.
