I appreciate this response to a letter that I also found irresponsible. It is
clear that there is no reason to suspect vaccines in autism. A little research
shows that the author of the original study fabricated his data and had huge
financial incentives to do it. But because of improper press on the subject,
there is a completely preventable measles epidemic happening in Great Britain
There is no link between vaccines and autism. Any attempt the link the two have
been debunked as junk science.
Scientists haven't studied all the combinations of vaccines and the timing
of them. They have declared vaccines to be safe without conducting studies on
all combinations and times given. The My View writer is correct: vaccines are
not a bad thing; it is the timing of the vaccines that may be bad as well as the
combinations, something that hasn't been studied.You can't
trust the FDA 100%. After all, they gave us Hormone Replacement Therapy which
had to be stopped after thousands of women developed cancer, heart disease, and
strokes. They gave us Fen Fen which caused thousands to develop heart problems.
They continue to promote only patented meds when many off-patented meds can be
more effective but don't bring in the money. Check out Alpha-Lipoic Acid
as an example.
