    This is awesome news for Cindy Lynn.... would never have imagined it when she was teen in our ward. Her family must be beyond words for her and this treatment.... good job U of U.

    This is incredibly wonderful news, for all those who suffer from this very difficult disease and all who know and love them.

    I had a good friend with CF who died from its complications many years ago. I remember feeling terrible as he struggled so hard to breath and try to live as normally as possible, knowing that he would only get worse. We all longed for some miracle break through that would someday help relieve him of all the suffering. It came too late for him but it's very gratifying to know that something like this now exists. Thanks to all who've made it possible!

    This is certainly a leap forward, but the DN should point out some facts. The great majority of cystic fibrosis patients have the delta 508 deletion. Kadelco is only effective in the 4-5% of CF that is caused by the G551D mutation.
