Various hidden and unhidden cameras are catching advocates for abortion
approving of barbaric treatment. When a fetus is aborted in a late-term
pregnancy, if a 22 week old fetus falls out on the table before it is killed, it
is killed. What then is the difference between a 22 week old and a 24 week old
fetus? The difference is that the supreme court in Roe v. Wade said that one is
viable and the other is not. So therefore, the 22 week old fetus is not a
person.I do not believe that life starts at conception. I
don't think preventing an embryo from implanting on the uterus is the same
as murder. But I think that aborting a 22 week old fetus, or dumping a living
fetus into the toilet, or letting one wail on the operating room table, (stuff
that is happening), is 90% of the way there. But no one has broken the law
because, as per Roe v. Wade, the fetus is not viable. So we can live without
our consequences. Media can portray women as sex objects, chastity is bad for
business, everyone gets to pretend that they are liberal.
Dick Polman, writing for the Philadelphia Inquirer on the claim by conservatives
that the "liberal" media ignored the Gosnell story:The
horrific details were first released in a grand jury report back in 2011 —
which was when I first learned of the case. I read about it that year, thanks to
a pair of stories in The New York Times.Gee, I guess the Times
didn't get the conspiracy memo.Nor did the Philadelphia
Inquirer, which has long tracked the Gosnell story.Nor did the
Associated Press, which has run roughly 20 stories since jury selection.Nor did NPR, which did a Gosnell story two years ago.Nor did
Time magazine, which started covering the story two years ago.Nor
did Slate, the online magazine, which started covering the story two years ago
— as did The Daily Beast.Care to guess who hasn't closely
covered the Gosnell story? The conservative press. The Washington
Times, for instance, ran an AP story at the outset of the trial, but never sent
a reporter to cover it. Instead, the paper has run half a dozen stories about
how the "liberal" media supposedly isn't covering it.
So if a woman carries a baby for 22 weeks, why not go just a few more so the
baby can live and be adopted? 28-30 weekers do very well, especially when early
delivery is expected and prepared for. If they haven't killed it for 22
weeks, is 6 more weeks (a mere 20% longer) so much to ask?But the
depraved people in society want to argue about person-hood instead of saving the
babies. It is sick that the realities of late term abortion have to be published
in the media, but those sick realities are happening, and babies are dying
terrible deaths. Pro-choicers are seeing the fruits of their position, and it is
nasty to the core. No wonder they are uncomfortable with it. All people with any
heart are sickened.
This is such a sad and disheartening topic, but the article covers reality well.
We need to view abortion for what it is, murder.
TruthseekerYou may point to a few stories in order to feign that the
media did their job, but the network media did not report any of this until they
were shamed into it; so please dont pretend that the story was honestly covered
or try to portry the liberal press as victims
This is such a sick industry! I can't even look at the pix of the babies,
how could a mother who is supposed to love & protect their child do this?I know DN has refused to post this anytime I bring it up, but 0bama held up
"The Alive ...Act" in Illinois, because the same thing was going on
there. Babies were being put in a closet until they stopped crying and died. I'm sure this happens with this industry all the time and it makes me
sick. I hope we can be forgiven, as a society, for this depravity.
3 things need to be proven to established a crime:Method.Motive.Evidence.In this case - the conservatives tend
to focus on the grisly "method", but they completely igore the
Motive. What motivated the man?Was is revenge? Anger?
Hatred?....no.The movtive was $MoneyGreedGain.Take away the money incentive, and this never would have
happened.Capitlaism [the Love of Money - the rooot of ALL evil] is
Motive to Murder.Conservatives routinuely ignore that fact. The
"Think, for a moment, of how much attention Michael Vick received when he
brutalized pit bulls."----------------That is
precisely the comparison I thought of when I first learned of this horrific
example of the very routine practice of killing children for the crime of being
"unwanted".People die and are killed every day in our world.
As gut-wrenchingly tragic as that fact is, the thing that makes it all
exponentially worse is how few people are affected by it anymore! It
is true that, as in so many other cases, the "main stream" media has
enacted their usual hush-hush policy for any story that casts a light on the
gruesome practice of abortion in this case.It is also true that this
case is distinguished not by the fact that children are being killed but by the
fact that they are being killed after rather than before their birth. That fact
may have enormous implications to those willing and duplicitous enough to make
the pointless distinction. But, for anyone sincerely concerned about the
millions of children who are methodically, clinically and routinely murdered
every year in abortion mills, it makes no meaningful difference at all.
Airnaut: So you blame this on capitalism? Wow, I don't think
I've ever heard that one before. You truly have come up with a totally new
reason. BTW, I guess you know that he limited his practice to black
babies? He didn't want any of those white women to report him.Did you also know that his clinic was NOT inspected for over 17 years?
Why?Because of the abortion industry! They did not want anyone to limit
abortion in any way. There are many things you can do in order to
live a comfortable life, butchering babies is not my idea of one!
What a sick society. There is no way for us to avoid God's judgment for
willful murder of millions of babies.
