Kobe is not just a great player; he is a warrior. Obviously, his injury
increases the chances for the Jazz making the playoffs.
Kobe is great because of "Jellybean" Bryant, his father, the LaSalle
star. He grew up living in another culture. His mother is never mentioned. She
must have been very supportive and loving. That being said, the game in
Tinseltown was "scripted". Has it been that long since Shannon Anderson
went in for a winning layup in the NBA Finals against the Bulls only to see
Scottie Pippin "slap the backboard" and vibrate the ball out of the
basket? The Bulls then went on to rally and take both game six and game seven
against Malone and Stockton. The Jazz may have the integrity of Andy Griffith
but they still are considered to be from "Mayberry" and "not ready
for prime time" and the selling of "pretzels and beer".
I guess Superman has finally ran out of gas in Hollywood.
