Having lived in the St. Louis Area for 9 years in the 1980-1990s, this sounds like a typical winter to spring occurrence in April. It is not unusual in the tornado alley to have these occurrences annually. That is also a big earthquake fault area and people can be scared sick over that and the floods that occur since the Missouri and Mississippi rivers and drainage of other rivers into those rivers happen.

People are afraid of God and nature is one way He still has to remind people they are only human and should obey His rules of goodness and kindness to others. Mother Nature isn't a selector of people, whether you live on the shores of the Pacific or the Mountains in Utah.

Global freezing, global warming, global weather changes are just buzz wards to enhance fear and trepidation in people's hearts and souls.

Wars and rumors of wars occur around us all the time in so many countries. We don't have wars in our country but we have people that are criminals taking advantage of others.

We usually have homes that protect us but many people in the world don't always have comforts.
