"Daily scriptures study is as necessary to the nourishing of our souls as food is to our body."

I don't believe this statement. Once a person makes an asserted effort to read through the scriptures a few times, it absorbs into your Soul & won't come out. When needed in discussions & debate, you already know the scripture exists ... just need to look it up for exact wording & reference ID's.

"Daily scriptures study is as necessary to the nourishing of our souls as food is to our body."

I believe this statement because I think the spirit guides us to receive different nuances or meanings of the same scripture depending on what we need. A scripture may have a very different affect on me when I am a single 20-something in college versus a 30-something parent. The different insights of the same scripture has happened to me many times in my short life.

And, daily reading scriptures and prayer is a way of nourishing our soul. It helps to remind us of what is important in the busy lives we lead.
