How absolutely wonderful! I am so glad to hear about the construction of this
beautiful chapel and the Spirit that is present there. Additionally, I am
pleased that there are good feelings of friendship among all the Christian
denominations who have built their buildings of worship in the same area and the
hospitality extended by the Crown Prince.
Well, this is nice! But the title just says he dedicated the "chapel."
Hmm... I thought they dedicated whole buildings.
Oh, but at least the article body does say he dedicated the stake center (as a
Can I please take pictures for you guys. This is actually an interesting church
building and the pictures tell very little. I will offer my services for free.
Is it possible that the building was designed as it was to accomodate a future
temple? Sure looks like it to me. You don't need 14K ft for
offices-especially when there is a building right next to it (see the pictures).
Could that be a future housing area? Hmmm...
Alleluia! Glory to God for the consecration of the first chapel in the Middle
East in Abu Dhabi. All this shows that our Father Céleste is tall and that
his Love is infinitely immense to all his(her) children. It is a very beautiful
church, big, magnificent; which(who) has just been dedicated in the name of our
Rescuer Jesus-Christ and to the Glory of God, where our brothers and sisters of
the Middle East can rent(praise) the Eternal in any enjoyment.Your Faith
was filled(performed) by this blessing of our Father Céleste. Now that the
church begins to go out of the shade(shadow), other churches will be born in the
years future. I am from the French Polynesia more known under Tahiti.
Another significant milestone in the church covering the earth. Fantastic! It
appears that, as the world goes more and more to pot, the church continues to
grow and fulfill it's mission of preaching Jesus Christ to the world.
Great article about a landmark event. We were blessed to have Elder Holland in
our Berlin Stake a week after the above dedication and then have him in our
branch for Sunday meetings the next day. A rare treat. The Apostles sure get
around, which is I guess how it has to be with the church growing in so many
I am reminded of when Joseph Smith said stopping the rolling forth of the Gospel
would be like a man raising his hand and trying to stop the Mississippi river.
May we count our blessings and each of go forth boldly and may these young men
and women who are turning 18 and 19 go forth as the army of Helaman. Our Mothers
taught us and we did not doubt God. May the Lord bless each of you parents as
you teach your young men and women and prepare them to serve the Lord. Your
lives will be enriched as you cant imagine and your children will be blessed
more than they can imagine. Go forth YE young men and women of the Covenant and
believe and trust the promises of our Heavenly Father
Reminds me of one of my favorite Joseph Smith quotes."No
unhollowed hand can stop the work from progressing; persecutions may rage, mobs
may combine, armies may assemble, calumny may defame, but the truth of God will
go forth boldly, nobly, and independent, till it has penetrated every continent,
visited every climb, swept every country, and sounded in every ear, till the
purposes of God shall be accomplished, and the Great Jehovah shall say the work
is done."Remarkable words for a young man of the early 1800s.
But then he was a Prophet.
