Good thing there arent millions of hungry people without jobs in our country.
That is a quarter of a Billion Dollars,$250,000,000 that we could put into a big
stick which is all the World Powers seem to understnd. If we have to give
it away lets put it into planes and tanks in the Sinaithrough the Israeli port
of Aqaeba and let themm release the weapons Egypt when we tell them too.
Sure, I'll get out my checkbook......again.
Our country is going bankrupt and has to cut programs. But, somehow we have
enough to help Egypt. I'm so glad I didn't vote for Obama.
Could it possibly be that a little invested in keeping Egypt on the democratic
side now would pay off in the future? I'll even volunteer to pay
J-TX's $2 share if it's so painful to him, but I couldn't go for
Swiss's "Let's make sure they're all armed" solution.
BTW, all through administrations of both parties, Egypt has long been the #2
receiver of US foreign aid. You should know who's #1.
Is it possible that Kerry could just through the agenda for bankrupting the
United States out the window and seek financial aid from his Arab friends to
bail out the US economy?Or, what about exacting tribute from the
Middle East countries who have benefited from our military aid?
I don't think anything should be "throughn", but, remember, the
Saudi's are Bush's pals, not Kerry's.
Doesn't Kerry realize we don't have any money to give away? Perhaps
he should be invited to the treasure department to take a look.Furthermore, if Egypt needs money why don't they borrow it like we have
to do? Maybe they could go to Saudi Arabia who's loaded with money... our
money from buying their oil at obscene prices.
@Mark B:"Could it possibly be that a little invested in keeping Egypt
on the democratic side now would pay off in the future?"They
(Egypt), of course, will try to look democratic to keep the money flowing in
their direction. But, once our money runs out (and it has, years ago but Kerry
doesn't seem to realize it) Egypt will turn their backs on us. Remember,
the country is Muslim (except for a few Christian Copts) and is now run by the
Muslim Brotherhood. Remember, Muslims hate the west and have declared war on us
via their military force (Al Qaeda).
Make that 'throw' the seemingly inexplicable agenda for bankrupting
the United States out the window. Bush, Kerry, Hillary, Obama and
anyone you can name from memory who have been Secretary of State or Commander in
Chief are all pals working for the Wall Street bankers who float all the bonds
that underwrite government spending programs and take their percentage on every
dollar of big government debt.
So, I'm broke and can't afford food for my family, yet I buy my
neighbor some? It's this kind of thinking that puts us in the situation we
now find ourselves. Why is it so hard for Americans to realize that
our country needs a leader who has business experience? Community organizers and
their ilk, just keep people happy by feeding their addictions to handouts. We
are so far away from what our founding fathers intended, they wouldn't even
recognize this country.
