I'm amazed how we can quickly forgive murder, assault, and abuse suspects, but being scammed is inexcusable.

The way the media handled this case is typical of how they handle everything. Had the same thing happened to a white man, who happend to be an active Christian, and also was a Republican, they would spare nothing to exposose a problem, real of imagined. He would be "beaten into the ground" until he begged for mercy. Others do much worse, but it is quickly forgotten if ever disclosed in the first place.

It is amazing to me the big hype in discovering that the sports world did not do their job in the investigative reporting of a sports hero when the MSM dropped the ball when they did no investigating reporting of the sordid past of a man this country would elect president and think nothing of it. In fact, they called us racist if we said anything controversial! Now we are paying the price!

The problem is how fast news is distributed now with the internet and social networks. Everyone wants to be the first to break a story or his or her job may be on the line. It's become so brutal out there that I feel for those in the media.
