If you don't have a car you can't kill someone with it either. We
kill more than 34 times the number of people with cars and yet no one has
suggested banning them. Hum, must be something else behind gun control - like
control.Check out the 1940's battle of Athens Tennesse and see
why we need guns in our society.I agree that in the hands of the
wrong people bad things happen, but in the hands of those who would take your
freedoms, without it they will succeed.
There are too many of us who will gladly go to the grave to preserve freedom.
That's why the government deems us a threat and is attempting to take our
guns away, and they're working with a very supportive media to massage
public opinion. Further, that's why the government (DHS) has purchased 1.6
billion hollow point rounds during the past year (enough to fight the Iraq war
for 30 years) and thousands of automatic rifles and is training its personnel to
kill--not foreign terrorists, but U.S. citizens it deems a threat. They're
expecting unrest and they're planning to cause enough collateral damage to
scare the public into submission. By the way, in its training, DHS regards
conservatives who staunchly support freedom and liberty as terrorists. Do the
research. You'll find that it's true.
