Irony: the only President who has actually shrunk the deficit each year since he took office? Obama. Too bad the Dallas papers are so factually challenged.

Judging from the articles I see here, If Texas wants to secede from America it’s OK with me.

It is good news to many of us that President Obama has not changed from the promises made to the American people. We can only hope now that he will have learned to get past the party of no and his other detractors. And their phony boogieman of debt.

To "Irony Guy" does it really matter if he shurnk deficits that he created and are the largest in history? Even compared to Bush, Obama has larger deficits than any other president.

You missed the 2011 spending ($1.3 Trillion) that actually had a bigger deficit than the 2010 spending ($1.293 Trillion) levels. So, Obama has NOT reduced the deficit each year in office.

Also, you are wrong about Obama being the only President to shrink the deficit. Harry Truman not only did not have a deficit, but he shrunk the national debt (ran a surplus) between 1946 and 1952.

Bush, in 2006 and 2007 reduced the deficit. So did Clinton, Reagan, Carter, Ford, and may other presidents. They all reduced the deficit at least one year while in office.

Too bad you missed on on those facts.
