    GDP decrease in 4th quarter is due to President Obama's doing exactly what Republicans wanted him to do--shrink the size and cost of government.

    I can't post a link here, but type "Wall Street Journal - Analysis: GDP contraction no reason to panic" into your favorite search engine and click play. The GDP contraction was due to mandatory defense spending cuts that kicked in due to the fiscal cliff legislation. It was a one-time thing...and it was mandated by Republicans.
