Struggles over taxes, spending and debt will continue in Washington
With a leader like Obama, coupled withy Harry Reid, look for the worst. Buckle
up, there is a muddy road ahead.
America is living in the new age of never-ending crises simply because the first
crises were "kicked down the road" and now there is a confluence of
unsolvable problems in which either solution or none are equally damaging,
promising a long-lasting economic winter. Speaker John Boehner has led his party
to lose some of its numbers in the 2012 election portending a further decline
and possible loss of the House in 2014. Both political parties have failed
America but Boehner is particularly the culprit as he could have single-handedly
blocked even ObamaCare by pulling a Harry Reid and not putting it to a vote.
Ditto with the increases in borrowing limits and Continuing Resolutions in lieu
of the Constitutionally mandated annual budget, now for the fourth year of Harry
Reid;s failure to honor the Constitution. Boehner's strategy to "live
to fight another day," has been notable only for its cowardice to bite the
bullet in the beginning of his majority. Untreated serious disease eventually is
fatal and there is no surgeon on hand willing or able to tackle the job. The
time may have come for the E-Party, "None of the Above."
How DARE you report that the so called "cliff" has been avoided? HOW
DARE YOU? If nothing had done, we would be paying an additional $200 a month in
taxes. They decided on just 1 tax issue which reduced that number down to $150 a
month (in social security taxes). Please explain to me just what was
I don't understand why government wants us to pat it on the back and say
"Good job" when the problem was entirely avoidable in the first place,
was only a crisis because they made it one, and ultimately the solution they
came up with was craptacular. This current administration is like the playground
bully who beats you up and then wants you to pay him for the pleasure.
On January 22nd, we are giving ten F-16 jets, and two hundred tanks to the
Muslim Brotherhood. Why are we giving billions of dollars, and these
kinds of weapons to them, when we are so far in debt? Is this why we pay
taxes? Are we creating another kind of cliff?
The apparent loss only adds more fuel to the fire of hate and greed of the
anti-people groups. worf, Mcallen, TXMeanwhile
it’s business as usual for the millionaires who build and sell the F-16
jets and tanks.
"the latest victory in chipping away at the deficit"? are you kidding me
des news? the man has added trillions to it and his "life saving"
legislation on new years day didn't change anything. we are still spending
too much. "chipping away" does not mean what he nor any of our
politicians have done.
We have an actor President that won't let a crisis go by and makes a crisis
from nothing to make him always have a reason to have government
intervention. This is not just a tax issue but a humongous spending
issue that hasn't been stopped and is growing more than mold or a mushroom
with entitlements promised to every citizen and non-citizen alike. The
President always wants to spend as if it it actually growing green bills on the
trees he won't allow anyone to cut down.Spending limits will
come up again shortly and this President may be able to talk a good spin and our
last President couldn't talk.Congress is our balance from the
400 plus districts and the 50 states with their 100 U.S. Senators should be
diplomats for us but have turned into politicians instead. Representatives only
have 2 years and are on the road after a year trying to keep their seat. But
even Senator Hatch saw that he could go against the grain as he has 6 years and
no reelection campaign and voted for the diplomat type working condition. Good
or bad, statesmanship qualities can be good to work issues.
The Military Industrial Complex that Eisenhower warned of, and the Secret
Societies that Kennedy warned of are still in power in Washington pulling the
strings of the puppets that we elect to office. They have found that playing on
the fears of people allows them to get American Citizens to go along with
anything. Want a war? No problem, create an attack and accuse another.
President Obama voted into office on the promise of "Hope and Change"
just gives us more of the same; Thanksgiving Day he pardons a turkey, Christmas
Day he authorizes drone strikes. America is the number one exporter of wars,
weapons, Blackwater Mercenaries, and Halliburton profiteers so that corporations
can rob people of other countries of their resources, the taxpayer gets the bill
and the american serviceman pays the ultimate price. The founding fathers knew
that they would one day be held accountable by a higher power. If only those
elected to govern today based their decisions with the same knowledge, they
would do what is best for the people and not what is best for thier pocketbooks.
