This information takes a lot of wind out of the sails of those who want to make this a political issue.

Hmmm......so when Fox News and various Republican Senators went on and on about how the Obama administration changed the talking points and lied/covered up the truth, they were actually wrong? Oh my, what a shock! I think it's been made clear over the past couple of months, if you didn't know it before, that if you watch Fox News and expect to get accurate information, you're going to be sorely disappointed (and surprised when the truth comes out).

I wonder if you two read the article. The WH DID change the talking points, in a significant way, which indicates their clear desire to defer blame before the election. Obviously a cover up. Take off the O-blinders and look.

Oh what a tangled web we weave,
When first we practise to deceive!
Sir Walter Scott, Marmion, Canto vi. Stanza 17.

Why don't they all just tell the TRUTH and they wouldn't keep having to rewrite their lies.

to louie and wonder. So our state department totally failed at protecting our people in Benghazi, despite numerous red flags, including pleadings from the ambassador himself, and you think Obama and Hillary are exonerated by this report? Amazing! The report said failures were systemic in the state department. That translates to incompetence throughout the department. And the report leaves the question hanging, who changed the talking points and why? What was said between Obama and Hillary prior to Hillary refusing to do the Sunday shows, so that they sacrificed Rice? This whole thing unveils the incompetence of the Obama administration and their attempt to obfuscate during the election. Every news organization but FOX parroted the Obama lies.

@DonQuixote -- totally agree, you know the saying that if you tell the truth, you don't have to recount all the lies to keep things straight? I wonder who has the job of keeping track of all the lies coming out of the WH and making suggestions on how to "spin" the next statement so it fits in, and how much they're paid to do it?

And right on, Lledrav! I don't know how people like Wonder intrepreted this article as FOX being in the wrong whe they said all along it was being covered up, and it is quite obvious with details being changed, they were right. So Wonder, how can you state we should be surprised when the truth comes out. I think the truth came out, and no we weren't surprised by our administration downplaying it, and now changing the detail wording to further downplay it -- no surprises there -- just shows how sheeplike some are and will believe anything that comes from these administrators that have to justify their mear existance and self-importance. And yes, I keep watching FOX for the truth!
